Kazakhstan holds estimated natural gas reserves of 3.8 trillion cubic metres and produces approximately 1.8 million barrels of oil per day — making it the Caspian region’s most significant energy exporter. With oil exports routed increasingly through the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) to bypass traditional Russian pipelines, and government plans to increase gas output by 25% to 34.6 billion cubic metres by 2030, the demand for sophisticated, internationally connected storage and logistics infrastructure has never been greater.
Simultaneously, Rotterdam remains Europe’s largest oil trading hub with pipeline connections to over ten refineries and North West European airports.
