3b — LNG Storage & Handling

Our LNG storage complex in Kazakhstan is central to the government’s Comprehensive Development Plan 2025–2029, which prioritises small-scale LNG plants for remote community and industrial gasification. Our vacuum-insulated cryogenic tanks, BOG recovery systems, and mass-flow-metered truck loading bays provide a complete liquefied gas storage and despatch solution. LNG operations in Kazakhstan are currently exempt from the rigid LPG domestic supply quota restrictions, making independent LNG storage investment strategically attractive.

3c — CNG Storage & Distribution

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) at 200–250 bar is supplied to industrial, transport, and municipal clients. Our stationary high-pressure storage banks, tube trailer delivery service, and CNG fuelling station design capabilities cover the full spectrum of CNG demand across Kazakhstan’s regions.

3d — Petroleum Product Storage

We store motor gasoline (AI-92, AI-95), diesel fuel (EN 590), jet fuel (TS-1, Jet A-1), fuel oil/mazout, lubricating oils, and LPG across our global terminal network. Value-added services include product blending and additive injection, heated storage for high-viscosity products, and certified metered throughput accounting.

3e — Gas Field Operations: Tamdy Field

Astana-Trans-Oil owns and operates the Tamdy gas field — our proprietary upstream anchor providing supply security and price stability for all downstream LNG and CNG operations. Field operations include well management, on-site gas separation and processing, quality testing, and pipeline transfer to our processing facilities. Our methane emissions management programme aligns with Kazakhstan’s September 2025 Methane Hub satellite monitoring commitment.

3f — Cryogenic Transport & Logistics

Kazakhstan’s 2.72 million km² territory demands a transport solution that reaches beyond the pipeline network. Our certified cryogenic tanker fleet — GPS-tracked, winter-rated to -50°C, operated by ADR-qualified drivers — delivers LNG to mining sites, remote communities, industrial plants, and CNG filling stations across all regions of Kazakhstan.

3g — Terminal Management

We provide full-service operational management for third-party storage and terminal assets globally. Our management services agreement covers day-to-day operations, maintenance programmes, Kazakhstan and international regulatory compliance, staffing, environmental reporting, commercial metering, and emergency response — all under performance-based terms aligned with asset value.
